Designed for post-baccalaureate students who have competitive GPAs and have completed the majority of their undergraduate medical school prerequisites. The program integrates a Graduate Urban Health Certificate into the Master of Health Sciences curriculum, offering courses in urban health and clinical science. Students also participate in professional development courses to enhance critical analysis skills. The certificate program consists of 16-19 credit hours.

With a focus on urban settings, the program includes a nine-month school-based internship, professional portfolio development and cohort activities. Designed for candidates seeking licensure in secondary education. Prospective students must hold a bachelor's degree in relevant fields with above-average grades, demonstrate a commitment to working in an urban school environment and meet specific admission requirements, including proficiency in English and Mandarin for Chinese language teachers.
