Ò¹À´ÏãÑо¿Ëù’s Office of Research has released the latest edition of its online newsletter, Ò¹À´ÏãÑо¿Ëù Research. Dr. Eric Schearer, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Chris Wirth, an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, have each received NSF CAREER awards. The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is the National Science Foundation's most prestigious award in support of early-career faculty.

The newsletter also highlights the work of social work scholar Cathleen Lewandowski, sociologist Linda Francis and Hilary Plum, associate director of the Ò¹À´ÏãÑо¿Ëù Poetry Center.
