SB 1 Compliance

SB1 Requirements

As required by SB 1, ҹо will share a list of speakers who were invited to participate in University-sponsored events and were paid speaker fees, honoraria or other emoluments more than $500 in the past month.

Invited Speakers Information

ҹо is actively engaged in a comprehensive policy development and review process. This initiative will focus on the revision and creation of several key academic policies, including:

  • Faculty Workload Policy
  • Faculty Annual Performance Evaluation Policy
  • Faculty Tenure Policy
  • Retrenchment Policy
  • Post-tenure Review Policy

Statement of Commitment

SB 1 requires the university to have a process to address complaints regarding violations of the Campus Free Speech Policy and inform students and employees of its protections. The university’s current process already fulfills the requirements for a process to investigate complaints about alleged intellectual diversity violations.
